Before announcing the final results of the XXVII International Piano Competition Delia Steinberg, we would like to extend our deepest thanks to the members of the jury for their selfless and kind cooperation throughout the years.

Pianist and Professor. From 2000 to 2004 he was the Director of the School of Music of Pulach, Munich, Germany. He teaches regularly seminars and conferences in Latin America, Germany, Austria, France, Spain and Brazil.

Albert Mamriev
Concert pianist, docent of the Piano Faculty at the Hanover High School of Music. Prize winner of many international piano competitions such as: New Acropolis, Gina Bachauer, Beijing, Pretoria, Vianna Damotta in Lisbon and Glasgow. Participant in many international music festivals. A soloist with many famous orchestras like Utah Symphony, Israel Philharmonic, Royal Scottish National Orchestra and many others.

The Jury’s Final Decision
The Jury is gathered in Madrid, on the 18 of April 2008 in order to give the prizes established in the 27h International Piano Competition Delia Steinberg. The Jury, in accordance with the rules of the competition, which were made public in July 2007 has made the following decisions:

FIRST: Mention that 84 participants applied for the Competition and 58 participants took part in the FIRST TRIAL.

La Asociación Internacional Cultural Nueva Acrópolis convoca el XXVII Concurso Internacional de Piano “Delia Steinberg” del 16 al 18 de Abril de 2008.

Participantes

Podrán participar en el XVII Concurso Internacional de Piano “Delia Steinbergâ€, todos aquellos pianistas de cualquier nacionalidad nacidos a partir del 1 de marzo de 1980 y antes del 1 de Marzo de 1990, que no hayan obtenido el primer premio en ediciones anteriores del concurso.

Pruebas

El concurso constará de dos pruebas que serán eliminatorias para acceder a la prueba final.
La primera prueba eliminatoria consistirá en la interpretación de:
A- Un preludio y Fuga de “El clave bien temperado†de J.S.Bach
B- Un estudio de F. Chopin a elegir entre los siguientes: Op. 10 u Op. 25 (excepto Op. 10 nº 3, 6 y 9, y Op. 25 nº 2, 7 y 9)
C- Un estudio a elegir entre los siguientes autores: F. Liszt, A. Scriabin, S. Rachmaninoff, C. Debussy.
La segunda prueba eliminatoria consistirá en la interpretación de:
A- Una sonata, a elegir entre las de F.J. Haydn, W.A. Mozart, L. Van Beethoven o F. Schubert.
La Prueba Final consistirá en la interpretación de dos obras a elegir, (excepto estudios) una del grupo A) y otra del grupo B), entre los siguientes autores.
Grupo A) F. Chopin, F. Liszt, R. Schumann, J. Brahms, F. Mendelssohn, F. Schubert, C. Franck y G. Fauré.
Grupo B) C. Debussy, M. Ravel, S. Rachmaninoff, S. Prokofiev, B. Bártok, O. Messaien, M. Mussorgsky , I. Stravinsky, A. Berg, A. Scriabin, I. Albéniz, M. Falla y E. Granados. Leer mas
